WHO WE ARE

BWS (Baobab Web Services) founded in August 2016, is headquartered in Cape Town, South Africa. With the goal of "removing the complexity of doing business online", BWS has been growing at a constant pace (staff complement, clients and solutions). And we are far from being done :-)

With AWS certified staff and AWS Select Consulting Partnership, you can relax knowing your solutions are in good hands with us. We believe in using the right tool for the job, and we do not reinvent the wheel when it comes to technology. By using best of breed technology, we provide solutions that scale, are reliable, easy to use and affordable.

WHAT WE DO

At BWS, we focus our products on removing the complexity of doing business online - a website in a box solution. Our product suite's four pillars are Web Hosting, Web Communications, Web Development, and Web CDN (Content Delivery Network).

Web Hosting - enabling clients in getting their web presence up and running. We provide customers with affordable and easy-to-use Web Hosting solutions, tailored to meet their business needs as their company grows. Web Hosting packages include Domain names (new & existing), Storage, Email, Support, MySQL, FTP, Multiple domains, and many more. We also offer Reseller and Custom Hosting solutions.

Web Communication - In today's always-on, always-informed era, a company needs to have an email and SMS strategy in place. Our highly scalable and affordable SMS and Email Platforms make it easy for you to stay in touch with your customers. These communication mediums remain two of the essential communication tools for SMEs.

Web CDN - Deliver content to your end-users at high speed through a highly available and globally distributed network of servers. Our high-performance CDN, powered by AWS Cloudfront, delivers your content (data, videos, applications, and APIs) fast no matter where your users are based. We have a 1-click process, taking away all of the setup complexities to get you started. Advanced configuration and customization options are available for the more specialist custom CDN setups.

Web Development - At BWS, we have our roots anchored in a strong software development foundation. We are working with dynamic customers on their exciting and unique development requirements. Customers we work with originate from various industries: Real Estate (RE/MAX), Medical (Neotree), Restaurants (The Fat Butcher) and Financial Sector (Benefit Counsellor).
